Image of the Studio
Image of the Studio, co-curated and organized by the Herb Lubalin Study Center at the Cooper Union and the creative studio Athletics, featured over 75 current graphic design firms in New York, as of October 2013. Each studio was tasked to submit an original 30x30in artwork to be displayed during the exhibit. We wanted to communicate the importance of the co-existence of WORK and PLAY at the studio. A lenticular made up of 30 2in wide strips of wood, with vinyl stickers for type, was carefully crafted to execute this concept.
